This quick and easy side dish is so delicious you may want to double the recipe!

Ingredients
- 1 lb carrots whole or sliced as per your preference
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup vegetable stock
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
- In a skillet on medium heat, melt butter until nutty and golden. Add carrots and let them sear on each side, until they are golden brown, about 7-10 minutes.
- Add salt, pepper, vegetable stock and garlic cloves, bring it to a boil, cover skillet with a lid and bring down heat to simmer until the stock is reduced to a third of its initial volume.
- Add maple syrup and toss well to coat each carrot.
